Heer Gebrigsjager 1943

This figure represents a Heer Gebrigsjager circa 1943, he's geared up and ready to deploy. The Heer Gebrigsjagers should not be confused with their SS counterparts. Heer Gebrigs were expert mountaineers typically recruited from alpine regions. Many of these men were professional climbers, skiers and guides prior to the outbreak of the war. They were in my opinion the most elite of the german formations and accomplished some of the most amazing actions during the war.

To date not a great deal of gebrigs specific equipment has been manufactured in 1/6 scale. The early style rucksack (later adopted by the rest of the army), climbing gear and goggles were made from scratch.
