The idea for this figure was borrowed from one of Ospreys books on the german army. He represents a Heer Panzergrenadier sometime in the fall of 44 operating near Lille France. I printed my own cammo and made the smock from scratch, including the pattern. The gaiters are likewise made from scratch. The chicken wire was made from galvenized wire thanks to Nomad65's technique. The helmet vents were drilled out and the rivets were replaced with the heads from straight pins. The Panzerschrek was detailed with woodgrain handles and real webbing strap before being weathered with washes, pastels and my trusty old colored pencils.
